The SM200LB is a compact yet powerful 8” 500W induction motor bench grinder from Scheppach. Designed for workshop use, this Scheppach bench grinder and polisher is the ideal tool for carrying out grinding, polishing and sharpening tasks - delivering perfect results in the process.

200mm Grinding Disc Powered by 500W Induction Motor

Thanks to both of the SM200LB’s 200mm diameter grinding wheels being driven by a powerful 500W induction motor, the K36 grit grinding wheel and wire brush wheel will make light work of removing rust, cleaning of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as preparing workpieces for soldering and welding applications.

Adjustable Spark Protection

With safety in mind, the SM200LB is fitted with two adjustable transparent spark protectors located above both of the bench polisher’s grinding wheels - protecting the user's eyes and allowing you to focus on the job in hand.

Equipped with an LED Work Lamp

For extra precision when processing a workpiece, this Scheppach bench grinder also comes equipped with LED working lamps located above both of the machine’s grinding wheels - perfectly illuminating your work area to enhance visibility of any imperfections on the tools.

Built with a Cast Iron Steel Frame

By virtue of the SM200LB’s cast iron steel constructed frame, this Scheppach bench grinder provides a solid and dependable foundation for any grinding and polishing application. Not only that, the machine is fitted with rubber feet for increased stability and also carries the option of being secured to the workbench for added support.
